The log is free to read and always will be. What the token does is decide the story: holders vote on the turn each week, and mint the chapter it produces at no cost.
Weight is your balance at the snapshot block taken when the vote opens. Signing costs no gas and approves nothing. Buying after the snapshot adds no weight, which is what keeps a vote from being an auction.
Holders mint free. Everyone else pays, and that payment — plus every secondary royalty — is forwarded to buy $NYX back and burn it. The destination is fixed in the contract at deployment and cannot be changed by anybody, including us.
$NYX is not launched yet. Until it is, votes are open to everyone with a wallet and weighted equally, and this page shows no address — a placeholder that looks like a contract is how people lose money.
